ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all users of Pagora. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to:

A. Illegal Content

• Host, generate, or distribute content that violates any South African or international law, including but not limited to:
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
  • Hate speech or incitement to violence (as defined in the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Unfair Discrimination Act);
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or trade secrets;
  • Content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism.

B. Harmful or Deceptive Practices

• Create websites for:
  • Phishing, scams, or fraudulent schemes;
  • Impersonating any person or entity;
  • Selling illegal goods (e.g., unlicensed firearms, controlled substances);
  • Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or “get rich quick” scams.

C. System Abuse

• Attempt to bypass our security measures, rate limits, or access restricted areas.
• Use the Platform to launch denial‑of‑service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, port scans, or any activity that disrupts our infrastructure.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or ransomware.

D. Unauthorised Data Collection

• Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without our express written permission.

E. AI Output Misuse

• Generate content that is deliberately false, misleading, or likely to cause harm (e.g., fake reviews, defamatory statements, impersonation of public figures).

Enforcement

• We may monitor content for violations of this AUP (without prior notice).
• If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may:
  • Issue a warning;
  • Remove or disable access to the offending content;
  • Suspend or terminate your account immediately;
  • Report you to law enforcement if illegal activity is involved.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of this AUP does not waive our right to do so later.
